Overview

The Warehouse Associate plays a vital role in the efficient operation of our warehouse facilities. This position involves various tasks related to receiving, storing, and distributing merchandise and materials within the warehouse. No high school diploma is required for this position.

Skills

• • Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and performing inventory calculations.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to accurately follow instructions and procedures.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects, often weighing up to 50 pounds, repeatedly throughout the workday.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and procedures as needed.

Responsibilities

• • Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of materials received against packing slips or invoices.
  • Unload, unpack, and sort merchandise or materials, and store them in designated locations within the warehouse.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling items according to customer orders or shipping requirements.
  • Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels using inventory management systems or manual tracking methods.
  • Keep warehouse clean and organized, including sweeping floors, stacking pallets, and disposing of packaging materials.
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks, using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment as needed.
  • Collaborate with warehouse team members and supervisors to ensure timely completion of tasks and fulfillment of customer orders.

Requirements

• • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • No high school diploma or equivalent required; however, a willingness to learn and grow within the warehouse environment is necessary.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Familiarity with warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, is a plus but not required.

Work Environment: The Warehouse Associate will primarily work in a warehouse setting, which may involve exposure to varying temperatures, dust, and noise levels. Personal protective equipment (PPE), such as safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed boots, may be required while performing certain tasks.
