Overview
The Construction Flagging Personnel plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety of construction workers, pedestrians, and motorists in and around construction sites. This position involves directing traffic, controlling the flow of vehicles, and maintaining safety protocols according to established guidelines and regulations. No high school diploma is required for this position, as certification can be obtained upon hiring.

Responsibilities
- Directing vehicular and pedestrian traffic around construction sites using hand signals, flags, and other signaling devices.
- Setting up and maintaining traffic control devices, such as cones, barricades, and signs, to ensure safe passage through work zones.
- Communicating effectively with construction crews, drivers, and pedestrians to convey traffic control instructions and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Monitoring traffic flow and adjusting traffic control measures as necessary to maintain safety and minimize disruptions.
- Responding promptly to emergency situations, such as accidents or road closures, and implementing appropriate traffic control procedures.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area and storing traffic control equipment properly when not in use.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- No high school diploma or equivalent required; however, a willingness to obtain certification upon hiring is necessary.
- Previous experience in construction flagging or traffic control is preferred but not required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work sites.
